BAHAMAS SAMPLE CHARTER INTINERARIES
The following Itineraries are samples of previous charters. A Yacht Charter Specialist will assist you in creating a customized Itinerary to fit your expectations and length of charter.
Miami/ Fort Lauderdale to Bimini & Chub Cay (5 Day Itinerary)
Day 1: Morning Embarkation in select South Florida Marina. Make way to Bimini for overnight stay. Arrivals in Bimini estimated at about lunch time with plenty of time to clear customs and visit the local hot spots on the water and break out the water toys. In the evening there is plenty of time to explore the delicious local cuisine and friendly bars.
Day 2: Bimini- Spend a full day exploring the beautiful stretches of white sand beaches located on nearby Cat Cay and Honeymoon Harbor. Explore the wreck of the concrete barge above and below the water or snorkel what is considered to be the partial remains of the infamous city of “Atlantis”.
Day 3: After a delicious breakfast and morning water activities the yacht will make way over the gin clear Bahama Banks towards the popular and very private destination of Chub Cay. This recently remodeled marina is a cruising favorite for its majestic location and great facilities.
Day 4: Guest will enjoy a full day of cruising, exploring and water activities before making way back to Bimini. Overnight in Bimini marina where you will have one more opportunity to explore the local night life.
Day 5: After lunch the yacht will make way back to Miami or Fort Lauderdale. The crossing of the Gulfstream is subject to weather so the Captain will look for the best window of opportunity to ensure our guest a smooth ride back. Upon arrival the Captain, crew and guest must complete US Customs check-in policies & procedures.
Paradise Island - Atlantis to Harbour Island, Exumas-Staniel Cay, Compass Cay & Sampson Cay (7 Day Itinerary)
Day 1: Arrive by air to Paradise Island and transfer to your private yacht awaiting your arrival at the Atlantis Marina. After meeting your crew and getting settled in, you have a full day to explore the many attractions of Atlantis including a unique marine park for guest of all ages, fabulous cuisine options and world class casinos. Overnight in Atlantis.
Day 2: After breakfast we will cruise to Harbour Island. Harbour Island is infamous for its pink sandy beaches and turquoise blue waters. The cruise to Harbour Island takes you through Spanish Wells and the famous Devil’s Back Bone which covers the northeastern tip of Eleuthera. This pink sand island was ranked "The Best Island in the Caribbean" by Travel & Leisure magazine in 2005. Once the capital of the Bahamas and the second largest city to Nassau in the 1900s, the current population is estimated at just over 2000 residents in 2008.
Day 3: Today guest will spend a full day exploring Harbour Island. You can choose to explore the island by land and visit the town’s marketplace and many stores or visit colorful reefs and pink sand beaches which you can enjoy all to yourself. This island offers exceptional gourmet cuisine options.
Day 4: Cruise to the Exumas, Staniel Cay- The Exumas are an archipelago of 365 cays and islands, beginning just 35 miles southeast of Nassau and stretching over 100 miles. Staniel Cay is the jewel in the center of the long necklace of Exuma islands stretching for 100 miles southeast of Nassau. Of particular interest is "Thunderball Grotto," a hollowed-out island where James bond movies "Never Say Never Again" and "Thunderball" as well as "Splash" were filmed. For the more adventurous, the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, a 176-square-mile reserve, is a short boat ride away. Overnight stay in Staniel Cay.
Day 5: Staniel Cay- On this day we will explore more of the local uninhabited cays and islands. Our crew will provide all meals on location so the guest can take advantage of the many water related activities offered from vessel as well as explore the remote and beautiful islands. Overnight stay in Staniel Cay.
Day 6: Compass Cay- Compass Cay is a 450 acre island located near the midpoint of the Exuma Island chain that separates the shallow Exuma Banks to the west from the 6000 foot deep Exuma Sound to the East. The 120 mile long Exuma archipelago is comprised of countless islands, majestic rocks, and white sand beaches and sand bars set in gin clear water. There is plenty to do at Compass Cay including activities on the island or nearby. Overnight Compass Cay.
DAY 7: Return to Paradise Island- Atlantis after a fun filled week of excellent memories and a tan to match.
